My artist name is Zirpzu and my real name is Sirpa Haataja (maiden name Kellomäki) and I am from Finland, South Ostrobothnia, from a town called Kurikka. God has given me songs during a few years and I ended up publishing them in my Youtube-channel.
I enjoy singing, playing and making music. I have been a member of different music groups over the years. For example bands and choirs – as a singer or/and a piano player. I made my first songs as a child because I was very interested in playing with my tiny Casio keyboard, just by ear hearing aid. I used to sing aloud my thoughts accompaning my voice by my keyboard. At times I climbed to the rowan tree that was in our yard and I sat there singing. Our family called that tree my ”song tree” because I was allways singing there. I was also interested in recording, and I recorded my own ”radio broadcasts”, piano playing and singing.
I wrote a few songs during my teen years, but after that there was a long silent period regarding songwriting. A few years ago I started to get new songs. I have been wondering how they ”come up”, but I know these are gifts from the God. My songs tell often about the things that either me or someone I know has gone through. The songs usually encourage and comfort me first and after that they comfort others. I have written some of the songs crying because the topics of the songs are so near to me. I want to deliver this God’s gift to other people. I also pray that all of you could find Jesus (Yeshua) as your Savior while listening to these songs, and get hope to your life situations.
